BIOGRAPHY OF

 

THE REV. DR. CARLTON R. CALDWELL

 

Dr. Carlton R. Caldwell, is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas.  He is one of six children of the late Reverend I.V. Caldwell and Mrs. Artiller Caldwell and was born January 10, 1950.  He was licensed (1974) and ordained (1976) at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Kansas City, Missouri where the Reverend L. Henderson Bell is the Pastor.

 

Dr. Caldwell is widowed and the father of four children, Latisha, Keith, Carnisha and Weslyn.  He has over 40 years of active and diversified ministerial experience having pastored the Second Missionary Baptist Church in Mexico, Missouri for 11 years and currently the Pastor of the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in St. Louis, Missouri for 26 years.

 

Dr. Caldwell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Westminster College of Fulton, Missouri and a Master of Divinity degree from Covenant Theological Seminary of St. Louis, Missouri.  He also has a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Southern Baptist Seminary of Louisville, Kentucky.  He is an adjunct Professor at Western Bible College and Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.

 

Dr. Caldwell has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Greece, Rome, Asia Minor and the Holy Land preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  In October 2012, he traveled to Kenya Africa on a mission tour where many were saved, many helped and the Gospel of Jesus Christ was preached and taught.

 

- Author of three books:  We Are All Ministers – Moving Members from the Pews to Purpose
  (2008); Little by Little – A Spiritual Autobiography (2014); But Now That’s A Fact,
  Messages from the Apostle Paul (2018).

 

- Elected Moderator of the Berean Missionary Baptist District Association in 2010.

 

- Elected Vice President-at-Large for the Missionary Baptist State Convention Congress of        Christian Education in 2011.

 

- Appointed to the Missouri Commission on Retirement, Removal and Discipline of Judges by

  Missouri Governor, Jeremiah “Jay” Nixon in 2012.

 

- Recognized by the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., Alpha Nu Chapter, for

  services rendered to the community in the areas of Spiritual, Social and Intellectual Insights  

  (2013)

 

- Adjunct Professor at Covenant Theological Seminary (2005 – Present)

 

- Guest lecturer January 5, 2017 Southern Baptist Theological Seminary
